Corporate Campaigns Coordinator

Title: Corporate Campaigns Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Corporate Campaigns Lead (dotted line to Director)

Terms: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Location: Accra; regional travel required

Start date: As soon as possible

Purpose of the Role

Lead outreach and campaign activities with corporate companies to win cage-free and related corporate welfare commitments and track their implementation.


Core Responsibilities

Corporate Outreach & Negotiation

  • Build and maintain a database of corporate companies and key decision-makers, keeping engagement histories up to date.

  • Establish and sustain contact via email, calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to secure cage-free policies and timelines.

  • Prioritize targets, prepare meeting briefs, policy requests, and follow-ups, and escalate to leadership when necessary.

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan and deliver campaigns across offline and digital channels, including peaceful actions, leafleting, open letters, and coordinated volunteer efforts.

  • Recruit, brief, and manage volunteers and actors; ensure safety, legality, and message discipline.

  • Create action plans, timelines, and weekly outreach schedules; monitor progress and adjust based on results.

Content, Media, and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Draft reports, position papers, decks, and corporate memos with clear policy asks and implementation steps.

  • Write professional press releases and pitch to Ghanaian mainstream media; serve as spokesperson when assigned.

  • Write concise copy and create simple visuals for AWL’s social channels to support campaigns.

  • Build relationships with journalists, NGOs, and coalitions; represent AWL at public events and sector convenings.

Measurement, Learning, and Improvement

  • Track outcomes (meetings, commitments, timelines, SKUs covered, public announcements, compliance evidence).

  • Develop and apply an evaluation method to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities; report insights and iterate tactics.

  • Maintain a tidy CRM/database with audit-ready documentation.

Logistics & Travel

  • Travel within Ghana (and regionally when required) for meetings, events, and actions.
